Thoughtfully Made, With You in Mind
Everything we make is designed with real care — not just for how it looks, but for how it feels and supports you day to day. Each product is created, tested, and approved by people who know what it’s like to live with chronic pain, so you can trust that it’s been shaped by lived experience, not guesswork.
We believe comfort should be for everyone. That’s why our designs are size-inclusive and customisable, so they can work with your body — not against it. As a plus-size maker herself, Triana puts special care into making sure our products feel good on all bodies.
Our products are here to help you keep moving, keep living, and keep being you — without getting in the way or holding you back.
And when it comes to the planet, we’re just as thoughtful. We choose natural materials wherever we can, and most of our products are fully recyclable or compostable. So after a long and useful life, they can return gently to the earth and maybe even help something beautiful grow.

Meet the People Behind Selki Store.
How Selki Began
Selki Store officially began in 2021, but really, the story started long before that — with two sisters and a sewing machine.
Hannah, my sister, has lived with endometriosis for many years. Like many others, she found that heat brought real relief — but traditional hot water bottles and heat packs weren’t always practical. They could be uncomfortable, and more often than not, they meant she had to lie down just to use them. They made everyday life feel smaller than it should.
One day, she asked me — Triana — if I could help. I’ve always found joy in creating, especially at my sewing machine, so I set out to design something better. Something comforting and beautiful. Something she could wear and move in, rather than having to stop everything just to feel better.
After months of testing and tweaking, the SelkiBelt© was born — a soft, soothing heat pack filled with linseed, thoughtfully shaped to wrap around your tummy or back, moulding gently to your body.
It was made for Hannah. And now, it’s here for you, too.

Sustainability.
When Selki first began, I was working as an ecologist — so it was second nature to make sustainability a priority from day one. I wanted our products to be kind to the planet, made to last, and designed with as little plastic as possible.
But we also wanted them to be made with love - the kind that comes from careful hands and a warm studio full of good intentions. So we set to work transforming a little space of our own, and it’s here — in our cosy studio — that we still make every single Selki piece, one at a time.
Our proudest moments have come from hearing how these small comforts have helped people living with all sorts of conditions. What started as a way to help others move through pain with a little more ease has become something bigger than we ever imagined.
And really, this is just the beginning.

Everyone needs community!
Your Pain Might Be Invisible — But You Are Not
Chronic pain touches many lives, often quietly and without warning. For Hannah, understanding her endometriosis began with something as simple as a YouTube video — and that small moment made a big difference. It helped her find words for what she was going through and led to a quicker diagnosis and better care.
That’s why we believe in open, honest conversations — even (and especially) about things that are often brushed aside, like menstrual health and chronic pain. Talking about these things doesn’t just raise awareness — it can be incredibly empowering. Sharing your story, or hearing someone else’s, can be a lifeline.
Whether it’s for emotional support or exchanging tips that make daily life more manageable, being part of a community can help you feel a little less alone.
We’ve created a gentle, welcoming space on Facebook where lovely people come together to chat, listen, and share both the good days and the hard ones. You’re warmly invited — we’d love to see you there.
